Based on the DB9, the Aston Martin Rapide is the spiritual successor of the Lagonda Rapide of the 1960s. It's a practical four-seat liftback sedan with the design, luxury, and performance of a traditional Aston Martin. Aston Martin introduced the Rapide AMR for 2019 in limited numbers to celebrate the end of its production run. It features a more powerful V12 engine, recalibrated suspension, and a more aggressive aero kit out of carbon fiber, allowing it to reach an impressive 205 mph top speed. Power comes from a 5.9-liter V12, rated at 580 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
